GETTING READY FOR GRADUATION!!! This week was the last week for our class of 2024 and it has been a busy one! Today, students enjoyed a quick breakfast, picked up their caps and gowns, participated in commencement rehearsal, grabbed their yearbooks, then many visited their elementary schools and caught up with former teachers! Tomorrow, June 1st, we will be holding our first graduation ceremony at Vock Field, followed by a fireworks display at 8:30. We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate this wonderful class of seniors. You will be missed!

CUSHING STUDENTS PARTNER WITH THE BELFRE KITCHEN!!!! Cushing fifth graders got some real-world experience participating in a dine-in fundraiser today at the Belfre Kitchen in Delafield. Rather than just host an event, students rolled up their sleeves and worked as prep cooks, servers, hosts, baristas, dishwashers, and more! It was a great way for them to learn more about the food service industry and all of the different jobs that support a successful restaurant. Amy, the owner, and all of her staff had wonderful things to say about the Cushing students and their willingness to help wherever they were needed. We are so grateful to these incredible community partners for providing this opportunity. It was a beautiful day and parents, staff, students, and even restaurant guests, seemed to enjoy the festivities!

To learn more about the improvements you can click here https://www.kmsd.edu/o/kmsd/page/fine-arts and you can donate to the Fine Arts Fund at https://kettle-moraine-fine-arts-fund.square.site/?source=qr-code to support these renovations. TITAN BUSINESS CHALLENGE!!! KM Perform Titans Nicholas Sievert, Grayson Gaffney, and Ella Hannes qualified for the State Junior Achievement Titan Business Challenge. The Challenge is a simulation where students play the role of a CEO of a smartphone company and try to run the most successful business of the participating competitor teams. Only two of the 21 teams in the Waukesha, Ozaukee, and Washington Counties Area advanced to the statewide competition. Over 25,000 high school marketing students converged in Anaheim California for this year's DECA International Career Development Conference. 13 students from Kettle Moraine DECA represented the state of Wisconsin at this prestigious event. Lana Lampsa and Amelia Derrig - International Business Plan. Kendra Schwoerer - Leadership Academy, Georgia Boland and Amelia Lephardt - Sports and Entertainment Marketing Team Event, Anneke Barnett & Ella Lephardt - Entrepreneurship Team Event, Cameron LaRoque and Sullivan Vogds - Hospitality Services Team Decision Making, Madeline Ewald and Alyssa Foote - Sales Project Event, Savannah Kildow - Integrated Marketing Campaign and Reese Albert - Independent Business Plan. Alyssa Foote and Madeline Ewald, were event finalists and moved on to the final round of Competition. They had the opportunity to present their "Sales Project" for the opportunity to be recognized at the Grand Awards Session. All students represented KMHS with a phenomenal effort and we are so proud of their accomplishments of qualifying for this prestigious event. SkyHigh Marketing, Enterprise Solutions/ESI Equity, MERRILL - TBS Wealth Management Group, and Endpoint Solutions provided funds in our "Take Stock" in our Leaders fundraising program for DECA's ICDC. Without their generosity, this wonderful experience would not be possible.
